Ethiopian Mega Hub Development .

2019 - Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

The Initial studies supporting the planning of the New Ethiopian Mega hub Airport requested multi-dimensional Consultant such as myself, able to research and propose solutions in line with the economic and productive situation of the country and its strategic location between the Middle east, Asia and the rest of the African continent. The Ethiopian New Mega Hub is thought to ease the congestion on the fast growing Bole Airport of Addis Ababa but a good look at the macro economic prospects reveal how this airport, with a strong cargo focused implementation can drive an unprecedented development in the logistic and manufacturing sector, secure the place of Addis Ababa as the gateway to the African flow of goods and permeate other aspects of the country’s economy (from agro-industry to tourism and services).
The study included, studying the airport location and how to optimize the height challenges faced by the actual airport, preparing at a conceptual level the aspects of its development as well as planning the logistic and industrial area in term of land planning and in term of policy for investment maximization.
